Sr.  Calibration Technician:Our Metrology Group is a specialized engineering and engineering support group responsible for instrument calibration, repair activities associated with measurement and control loops, repair and maintenance activities for laboratory analytical equipment, and production analytical equipment as well as support to maintenance and engineering activities.

This role works with an established metrology group in support of a pharmaceutical BioScience production facility.  Services provided to our facility customer base include:
· Evaluating calibration systems that measure characteristics of objects, substances, or phenomena. 
· Testing and calibrating controlling, indicating, and measuring instruments and devices to ensure specified operating performance
· Using hand tools, testing, calibrating and precision measuring instruments
· Complex repair and calibration of test equipment including both electronic and physical dimensional equipment. 
· Preparing calibration documentation in accordance with standards
Job Responsibilities include:
- Support the metrology program to ensure operational requirements are met
- Provide technical instrumentation support for manufacturing, lab, validation,
- Schedule and coordinate calibration activities with manufacturing, lab, and support personnel
- Assist in scheduling and coordination of outside services for support of the calibration program
- Receive and complete training for calibration procedures, documentation, and cGMP operation
- Review and recommend revisions to calibration documentation and SOP's and assist in implementation
- Assist in the maintenance and support of the calibration database and associated files
- Schedule and coordinate outside services for support of the calibration program
- Support of operator and instrumentation user training
- Assist in engineering, validation and manufacturing efforts as needed
- Troubleshoot and repair instrumentation as required
- Support Validation activities
