NEW OPENING for Calibration Technician at Tescom Calibration Services, Austin Texas.
We have an immediate need for a full time Calibration Technician with military PMEL school training or equivalent, and preferred experience of at least eight years working as an electronic calibration technician.
Experience should include calibrations a wide range of electronic test equipment, including (for example): oscilloscopes, multimeters, pulse and function generators, RF signal generators, spectrum analyzers, attenuators, RF power meters, Hipot testers, megohmmeters, semiconductor parametric analyzers and many others.
The ideal candidate should have experience: performing calibrations in lab and at customer sites; calculating ISO17025 measurement uncertainties; using commercial calibration database software (such as IndySoft); using automation software such as Fluke MetCal, SureCal and National Instruments Calibration Executive; and have demonstrated skills and experience calibrating common physical dimensional instruments (such as scales, analytical balances, torque instruments, calipers, micrometers, pH meters, conductivity meters, and others).
We are an ISO17025 Accredited lab that is seeking quality focused metrology professionals to be a part of the rapid business growth that is happening in the Austin area.
