Mobile Instrument Company is at 3rd party ISO 17025 accredited calibration laboratory looking for a PMEL technician at any experience level for a Calibration Technician opening in Mobile, AL.  Technician will be required to provide both in-lab and onsite calibration activity and technical support.  We have a diverse customer base including the aerospace and shipbuilding industries.  Please contact Ed Wynn at [email protected] for questions or to provide resumes.

Still looking.  We are seeing quite a few resumes that have nothing to do with calibration / metrology.  I need someone trained in physical / dimensional calibration; not someone that saw a set of calipers once.

Did you find a tech?  I teach an Online  Degree for PMEL field that could help however you hire.  45 years in the field in every area of PMEL. Working GA PMEL for Georgia Power. Have a teaching lab at CGTC in the Jones building. Have gage blocks, micrometers, Optical Flats, 5500A-SC3, 8508A, fluke 87, Power meter with sensors, RF signal generator, Agilent Spectrum Analyzer, Function Generators 33220A, Analog Oscilloscopes and digital oscilloscopes, SPRT , 7103A micro bath, Multiple DMMs, Counters,  Distortion analyzer 334A,  LCR meter, Huntron 2000, Pressure gages and dead weight test and DPI603 protable calibrator, Dwyer 2" hook gage and Inch water pressure gages,  Dwyer Digital pressure gage. Used all these items in the labs when students want hands on training.
