Metrology Engineering Positions in Jacksonville FL

The Metrology Engineering Team at Fleet Readiness Center Southeast (FRCSE) has several engineering positions open.  ABET accredited Engineering or related degree is required.  This is a Civil Service position with the Department of the Navy.  Starting level is GS-7 to GS-11 depending on education/experience.  Full promotion level is GS-12 after 1 year at GS-11.

FRCSE supports NAVAIR and the team is responsible for evaluating calibration requirements and establishing calibration guidance for depot unique equipment supporting a wide variety of aviation products.  The team also provides direct support to the depot calibration laboratory by evaluating problems, correcting calibration procedures, and calibration standard upgrade projects. 

Occasional travel required.
