IMMEDIATE CALIBRATION TECHNICIAN OPENING IN AUSTIN, TEXAS

TESCOM has an immediate opening for a Calibration Technician at our Austin Texas Commercial Calibration Services Laboratory.

We are seeking an experienced Calibration Technician with well-rounded electronic and physical/dimensional calibration experience. Our well-equipped Laboratory covers calibrations in many disciplines. These include a wide variety of electronic/electrical and RF microwave instruments; physical/dimensional instruments such as: calipers, micrometers, torque instruments and transducers, pressure gauges, scales and analytical balances, thread/plug/pin gauges, pH meters, humidity instruments, airflow meters, and many others.

We service a wide variety of central Texas customers across many industries, which requires a broad cross section of skills. Position requires a combination of in lab work, and on-site calibrations at local customer locations.

Experience: Ideal candidate should have a minimum of 4 years experience in calibrating a variety of Electronic/Electrical and Physical/Dimensional instruments. Candidate should have experience processing calibration documentation. Desirable added skills include working in an ISO17025 Accredited lab, and use of Microsoft Excel/Word. Candidate should have good analytical skills.

Training: Completed formal calibration training in both electronic and Physical/Dimensional disciplines,  or equivalent experience.

Pay is competitive based on level of calibration experience, and negotiable, with good benefits.
