IMMEDIATE PHYSICAL/DIMENSIONAL CALIBRATION SPECIALIST OPENING IN AUSTIN, TEXAS
TESCOM has an immediate opening for a Physical/Dimensional Calibration Specialist at our Austin Texas calibration laboratory.
We are seeking an experienced Physical Dimensional Calibration Specialist with well-rounded commercial calibration experience. Our well-equipped Physical/Dimensional lab covers many disciplines. These include common instruments such as: calipers, micrometers, torque instruments and transducers, pressure gauges, scales and analytical balances, thread/plug/pin gauges, pH meters, humidity instruments, airflow meters, and many others.
We service a wide variety of central Texas customers across many industries, which requires a broad cross section of skills. Position requires in lab work, and on-site calibrations at local customer locations.
Experience: Ideal candidate should be experienced in a wide variety of Physical/Dimensional calibrations. Candidate should have experience processing calibration documentation. Desirable added skills include working in an ISO17025 Accredited lab, and use of Microsoft Excel/Word. Candidate should have good analytical skills, and the ability perform basic calculations needed for precise physical/dimensional measurements. Experience in basic electrical or electronic calibrations is a plus.
Training: Completed formal training in Physical/Dimensional calibrations or equivalent experience.
Pay is competitive based on level of experience and negotiable, with good benefits.
