Job Description

San Diego area Technology Lab is looking for a working lab manager to lead our team focused on customer requirements, performance excellence and success in meeting growth and profit goals.

Lab Manager Qualifications

Calibration lab supervision – minimum of 3-5 years

P&L and resource management,

Metrology experience – minimum of 5 years bench time, with RF & Microwave expertise,

Strong leadership, effective verbal and written communications abilities and positive motivated driver-manager skills a must,

Lab Manager Responsibilities

Supervise and manage calibration and repair activities related to a dynamic, industry leading commercial calibration laboratory,

Manage service turnaround time and throughput - from recall and throughout the subsequent processes of receiving, lab throughput and delivery,

Manage on-site calibration activities,

Actively oversee technical staff development and training,

Actively participate in customer retention, development and growth in conjunction with sales staff,

Work closely with admin and customer service staff in resolving customer needs and issues,

Overall efficiency and profitability of the lab operations,

Perform high level calibrations as needed to support the goals and needs of the team,[/size]
