MSI-Viking Gage is an A2LA accredited field service calibration laboratory. We have been in business for 50 years and perform calibration services for numerous Fortune 500 companies. Our calibration technicians work independently or as a team performing calibrations on dimensional and/or electronic equipment in our Duncan (Spartanburg) and Charleston, SC facilities and/or at customer locations throughout the Southeast.

This job position is full time and offers a complete benefits package. Seeking an embedded calibration technician to perform accredited calibration on a wide range of dimensional and/or electronic gages in line with Company quality procedures and customer expectations. This is an embedded position located at a Fortune 500 company in Greenville, South Carolina.

Optimal Qualifications for this candidate are but are not limited to the below function(s):
•   Precision Measurement Equipment Laboratory (PMEL) training is a plus
•   Commercial or Military experience acceptable
•   Prior experience calibrating General Purpose, Temperature, Electronic and/or RF Equipment
•   Ability to setup and perform manual and automated calibrations
•   Calculate statistical information
•   General familiarity with ISO 9001 and ISO/IEC 17025 Quality Systems
•   Strong technical aptitude
•   Strong written and oral communication skills as well as computer skills; must be proficient with Microsoft Windows, Word, Excel and networking
•   Strong interpersonal skills
•   Self-starter, proactive, productive and punctual work ethic
•   Must be capable of lifting, pushing or pulling heavy weights
•   Willing to travel to local and regional on-site locations
•   Willing to work overtime and occasional weekends
