Metrology/Calibration Technician - Huntsville, AL

Description:
The potential candidate will be tasked with working in a team environment and should be able to troubleshoot, repair and calibrate all facets of instrumentation and equipment. They will assist in writing and validating calibration procedures. They will maintain maintenance data for all equipment requiring calibration.

Qualifications:
-Formal training in metrology such as PMEL/TMDE or an Associates Degree in a technical discipline specific to calibration
-4-6 years of calibration experience
-Must be able to meet Laboratory Quality requirements -Able to determine equipment uncertainties -Strong interpersonal skills required -Valid drivers license -Able to lift 50 lbs.
-Strong computer skills (MS word, excel, outlook) -Familiar with ANSI/NCSL Z540.1 requirements -MET/CAL experience a plus -Must have normal color vision
