Spectranetics, recently named "Most Trusted Companies", has an opening for a Temporary MetrologyTechnician.
What You Will Do: As our Metrology Technician, you will have the opportunity to provide engineering support on a daily basis by developing and executing measurement system analysis which meet world class standards. Among these tasks you will support other teammates in execution of TMV plans

What Success Looks Like:
•   Execute Test Method Validation and Measurement System Analysis
•   Must be able to interface well with others, especially Production, Manufacturing Engineering and R&D Engineering
•   Must have excellent data entry and documentation skills
•   Must be able to operate and configure a wide variety of test equipment from CMM/Vision systems to simple handheld measurement tools.
•   Partner with engineering in selection of measurement equipment ensuring appropriate accuracy and precision for processes to be measured including recommending fixturing and creative methods to ensure repeatable and user-friendly measurement methods.
•   Lead problem-solving teams through root cause investigations and failure analysis to implementation and final verification
•   Develop, implement and monitor SPC on critical processes. Communicate status and progress
•   Ensure all appropriate requirements are being met from planning, protocol definition, leading execution of protocol, and assisting in defining procedures, training requirements, and report completion.
•   Guide with inspection and testing techniques; read and interpret blueprints
Education/Experience Necessary:
•   Associates of Science (Physics & Calculus) preferred, or related field
•   Moderate Computer skills
•   Technical/Analytical Minded
•   Understanding of Technical writing
•   Basic electronics
•   Ability to comprehend and apply mathematical principles to the degree required to perform the job based upon job requirements.
•   Ability to verbally communicate ideas and issues effectively to other team members and management.
•   Ability to write and record data and information as required by procedures.
•   Strong attention to detail required
Special Requirements:
•   The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
•   Visual acuity necessary to do the job safely and effectively.

Temp job, mystery location, no mention of pay pr relo costs. They're obviously not going after the more seasoned techs.
