Job Title:  Quality Assurance Specialist
The Bionetics Corporation has an immediate opening for an experienced Quality Assurance Specialist at the Air Force Primary Standards Laboratory in Heath, OH. The AFPSL is a world-class organization accredited by the American Association for Laboratory Accreditation (A2LA) to ISO/IEC 17025 (Cert. 2192.01). Requirements:
Performs and reports on internal reviews and audits to comply with the AFPSL quality program as defined in Air Force T.O. 00-20-14, ISO/IEC 17025, and contract requirements.   Provides technical assistance to technicians and engineers, and controls calibration certification stamps. Identifies opportunities for improvements in laboratory processes. Manages technical manual improvement reports, calibration determination reports, and product quality deficiency reports.


* Minimum 5 years experience in metrology disciplines.
* 3 years experience in QA, preferably in Air Force metrology program.
* Associate degree or higher in technical or engineering discipline desired.
* Thorough knowledge of T.O. 00-20-14 quality standards.  Familiarity and experience with ISO/IEC 17025 a plus.
* Excellent working knowledge of technical issues in all areas, i.e. electronic and physical/dimensional principles and theories; metrology techniques and laboratory practices, etc.
* Completion of USAF PMEL Technician in-residence course highly desirable.
* Excellent written and communication skills.
* Knowledge and experience with Microsoft Office required, with ability to perform tabulation, trend analysis and graph/chart design.

Competitive salary and benefits package. Salary: $23-28/Hr, depending on experience.
