Y-Tech Services, Inc. is seeking a PMEL QC Inspector / Technician III.  The PMEL QC Inspector / Tech III applies comprehensive technical knowledge to ensure that all quality assurance protocols and procedures and fully implemented and practiced.



ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Operates the PAMS Quality Assurance (QA) Module, Maintains the PAMS Quality Deficiency Report (QDR), Not Reparable This Station (NRTS), and T.O. Deficiency Report (AFTO22) Logs, REQUEST FOR CALIBRATION RESPONSIBILITY DETERMINATION (AFTO 45).  Processes completed TMDE through the QA Module, and documents results of Quality Reviews (QR) performed within the QA Module.  Verifies the correct usage of Maintenance Data Collection (MDC) and Root Cause coding.
Continuously monitors the Laboratory environmental conditions to ensure that temperature and Relative Humidity are maintained within the limits established by T.O. 00-20-14.
Performs Process Reviews (PR) and Annual reviews (AR) accordingly.
Performs EPE's on alternate PQA's.
Performs Quality Reviews (QR) on TMDE randomly selected by PAMS.  Measures all parameters required by the Calibration Procedure used to certify the instrument.  Documents the results of the QR.
Performs an in-depth and careful analysis of reviews to determine the Root Cause of failures.
Reviews calibration limitations written by Calibration Technicians on PMEL Standards to ensure accuracy and that the Standard remains useable.  Reviews certification of Base Measurement Standards as they are received. Ensure correct entries have been made, that limitations are acceptable, and signs the user acceptance block on certificates as required.
The PMEL QC Inspector / Tech III may be required to perform other related duties to meet the ongoing needs of the organization.


KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, & ABILITIES:

Beginner to intermediate computer skills specifically using Microsoft Office Suite; ability to learn additional computer skills or software programs. Working knowledge of advanced software applications is preferred
Ability to enter data accurately into databases.
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
Ability to write routine reports and correspondence
Interpersonal skills are necessary to work effectively and cooperatively with all levels of management and staff. Will also routinely interact with other crew members
Must possess effective oral and technical written communication skills to clearly communicate information to others.
Ability to use general office equipment such as fax, phone, copier, scanner, printers, etc.
Ability to follow a process.
Strong professional customer service skills, including active listening, prompt service and follow-up.
Strong decision analysis and problem solving skills; ability to draw conclusions and justify decisions. Must be able to communicate issues to management.
Ability to learn and understand corporate policies and procedures and how they relate to Y-Tech Services, Inc.'s goals.
Ability to perform basic mathematical computations
High degree of self-motivation and the ability to work independently
Ability to multi-task
Job Requirements
High School Diploma or equivalent.
Minimum of eight years Air Force PMEL experience.
Experience to include inspecting, troubleshooting, repairing, overhauling, aligning, calibrating, and certifying TMDE and metrology laboratory working standards.
