Hey, does anyone have part numbers on the rack cases that hold the 5700/5720A or other equipment for use on the road? I remember that while in the AF we had these rigid boxes we used that had rack mounts in them. I want something like this for a mobile rack system to hold a few pieces of gear. Thanks.

Just slap a couple 2X4s together and screw the 5700 into that. Just don't let the customers into your van...

How about the sort of Anvil cases that band roadies use for amplifiers, mixing consoles, and other sound stage equipment? They make them in standard rack mount sizes with removable fronts and backs, and some even have wheels.

Pelikan makes travel cases too. When I was with JDSU's Mobile Cal Team, we had several.

Those calibrator cases are cool unless you have limited work space while on-site!  They make the calibrator super bulky!

Thanks everyone! I have seen the sound system ones and I will probably see about getting those. We have plenty of space to work with and its better than what we currently work with.
