Yulista, Y-Tech, Goldbelt Falcon always pay good. I'd say to expect at least 30/hr plus opt out money.

Scottydo

PM for wage specifics. K1/K8 would be ideal.

It also depends on what the current CBA says unless it's non-union. I haven't seen anything on the pay scale at Sheppard PMEL. Depending on the location, PMEL Tech pay starts anywhere from the low $20s (p/h) to the low 40's. Quite a few of the ACC PMEL lab techs are making $36 p/h + over $7 p/h if you take the medical opt out.

If you plan on working at a contract AF PMEL expect 2-4 ACC audits & 2-3 over the shoulder audits annually as well as an AFMETCAL audit every 2 years. You pretty much live and breath audits.

you got that right. If you don't respond well to questions and people always watching you than this isnt the job for you.

The place I used to work at had multiple vendor audit UL and FM audits ISO audits and internal audit. I actually had to tell an auditor to wait one time while I finished up with another auditor. I think Ul came in every other month.
