Does anyone have access to a Gigatronics 2500A operations manual? Specifically I'm looking for a performance verification tests inside this manual.

I've found all of this for the 2500B series sig gens but not for the 2500 A series sig gens.

Since Gigatronics sold their test equipment business to Spanowave / Liberty test, they told me they threw all that away. Liberty Test was unwilling to share.

So if anyone has the performance tests for a 2500A series sig gen and is willing to share, or an operations manual it would be greatly appreciated.

I did some looking around, and found about what you did... pretty much nothing.  You might also post on the facebook PMEL & TMDE page.  There is a lot of traffic there.  I'll look a little more, as I like a good challenge in finding manuals for instruments.  I do get the feeling (not knowing that instrument), that it looks like it may be a software cal.  Is that correct?  If so, definitely need the manual.

One further thought.  Is the Gigatronics 2500A a completely different instrument from the Wavetek 2500A.  There is a service manual CD on ebay for the Wavetek.  I know the front panels look different.  And, it ma be a completely different unit.  But thought it worth a shot.

Gigatronics did have an automated cal that they provided a disk for when purchased new, but we acquired this DUT through an acquisition and have no manuals or disks to fall back on. The only thing I was able to find online for this series 2500A is a spec sheet.
The actual model of the DUT I am working on is 2540A.
It's a 40 GHz sig gen.

And no, this is the new black sig gens that Gigatronics came out with within the last 10 years. Far different from the wavetek series you are thinking of. Looks like this: http://www.atecorp.com/ATECorp/media/ProductImages/Gigatronics-2540B.jpg

BTW: I appreciate your input.
