Kill the HVAC guy, if you can wait until after he fixes your stuff...
If it works, it's a Fluke.

HVAC folks here HATE PMEL!  I think they draw straws to see who has to come over here when we call.
I actually had one place a psycrometer (uncalibrated) on the bench and tell me our humidity was OK when our humidigraph was right next to it saying out of tolerance.  I was unable to make him understand what calibrated equipment meant.
Now we have a computer controlled system and they look at their computer and say we're in tolerance when our sensors are beeping all over the place.  They refused to change the set points until I was blue in the face!
Needless to say, I'm not allowed to talk to them any more...you call someone an idiot ONE time...

Good luck dallanta!

At least you got the radios back though, right?  There's a silver lining! :-D

dallanta

Every one is safe now, I will not ever forget my coffee again, the air is working, and yes, we got radios back, LOL

I can't believe I lost our friggin' dolly!  It's probably in f******g California by now.  Son of a...How the hell am I supposed to operate around here without one?  Damn me and my problomatic memory!

Thraxas

Did you pack it in a crate? :?

Anyways, can't you just delegate the heavy lifting to an airman? :-D

cobychuck

Contractor out of California came to take furniture from some dorms and I forgot I had brought the dolly with me.  They probably used it and then stuck it on their truck and went back to California.

Thraxas

That sucks. Uhhh...do you know someone with a government credit card? :-D

cobychuck

Yeah, but I think I found one today that I can just not return.  The people we borrowed it from have an excess of dollys.

Excess? Did U-Haul have a fire sale or something? :-D

cobychuck

I don't ask questions, and as long as nobody else does, I have a replacement dolly.  So I'll just lie low, keep under the radar...and hope nobody notices.  8-)

Thraxas

You work in a dorm. Who is going to notice? :-D

I hate Mondays.  Even when nothing goes wrong, nothing seems right.  Maybe it's just my mindset but it is really depressing to go through a good day feeling like there is something out there, waiting for that moment when the day seems like it's going great, to pounce and crush all hope.  Now, this isn't some end-all event it's just a feeling and usually nothing goes wrong.  I just really hate feeling like something will.  Always on Monday though.  God forbid that it comes to Monday the 13th.  (shiver)  That is all kinds of trouble.   :x
