Heelo all.
Does any one have or know of the specifications of wavetek 1378 sweep/funtion generator?
I googled it and all I can found was 1370 manual.
I guess they are similar but I'd like to know for sure.
Thanks.

That's a tough one.  I have a head full of thousands of models, and that one doesn't click.  The closest I could find anything on was a Fluke/Wavetek 1375 Generator on a VXI card.  Is this a VXI instrument?  Do you possibly have a picture of one?

The only reference I could find was in an old PDF doc from Oak Ridge Natl Laboratory that referenced the model 1378.  In that document, it stated that it was a 12 MHz VXI function generator.  If you can't find anything, I would suggest using the 1370 Manual, which seems to cover it.  The 1370 manual I saw at Artisantg dot com website says the 1370 is also a 12 MHz function generator.  That may be close enough to be able to use if nothing else can be found.

You might also try contacting some of the used test equipment manual vendors to see if any of them may have something.

Thanks for the information.
It is a VXI instrument and has the same frequency range as 1370.
The front panel is identical as 1370 except it has REF IN and OUT BNC connectors thus it occupies two slots.
Well, it seems I have no option but apply 1370 specification and ask the customer if they satisfy on my suggestion.
Thanks again for your concern.
