Calibration Technician 

CALIBRATION TECHNICIAN
Location:
Ann Harbor, MI

Job description:

Apply knowledge to calibrate inspection, measurement, and test equipment in the dimensional and physical/mechanical disciplines to ensure measurement accuracy.

Identify and utilize appropriate measurement techniques.

Perform corrective actions to address identified measurement problems.

Adapt equipment, standards, and techniques to accomplish unique measurements.

Maintain calibration standards.

Examples of equipment: calipers, micrometers, dial indicators, height gages, thread gages, etc.

Desired Skills and Experience

Knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing
Experience with vision systems or CMMs preferred
Experience with dimensional calibration a plus
Ability to lift 50 lbs with or without reasonable accommodation
Must be able to show a track record of excellent attention to detail.
Proven advanced skills with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) and industry specific software.
Strong commitment to customer satisfaction
Ability to effectively communicate with customers and peers, both verbally and in writing
Must have a valid Driver's License and good driving record
