Position Description:

Calibrate, repair, and modify a wide variety of precision measurement equipment.  Experience in dimensional, electrical, force and other areas are desirable.  He/she is responsible for performing a variety of work functions related to equipment calibration and maintenance of the electronic equipment calibration system. Candidate will test, calibrate, troubleshoot and repair electrical, mechanical, and measuring equipment for conformance to established standards.

Candidate will develop written calibration procedures; schedule calibration activities perform equipment calibration and repair, ensure proper documentation of calibrations results, and maintain the equipment calibration database. Support process and equipment validations (as needed), and assist with out-of-tolerance equipment investigations, as necessary.


Job Requirements:

•         Former military PMEL training with related associate's degree is highly desired.
•         Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Calibration or Biomedical Electronics Technician.
•         Certified Calibration or Biomedical Technician desired but not mandatory.
•         Computer experience to include Microsoft Excel.
•         Must possess a valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
