Immediate need for an experienced Calibration Technician in Chicago, IL

Great Lakes Calibration has developed a national reputation for quality calibration service and technical expertise well above the competition. Due to rapid growth and expansion, we are looking for a motivated and experienced calibration technician to join our team. Great Lakes Cal is based out of Chicago, IL and we travel the country to visit our customer's facilities and calibrate mechanical, thermodynamic, dimensional, and electrical testing equipment. We are not your normal calibration vendor. Great Lakes offers a unique set of capabilities unmatched by most calibration companies.

Applicants will have 3 years or more of calibration or PMEL experience. Knowledge of mechanical testing equipment is a plus. Military training is highly regarded.

This position requires frequent travel across the US. Technicians can expect to be on the road 2 to 3 days most weeks. There will be plenty of down time at home as well. When you are not traveling, you can work from home.

Equipment, tools, and company car will be provided. A company credit card will be used for all travel expenses. Health insurance for employees and families is provided. 401(k) plan and competitive salary.
