Army Calibrator Position - Alabama

The Army has a "Precision Measurement Equipment Calibrator" position open at Anniston, AL.  If interested go to WWW.USAJOBS.GOV.  The position is under series 3378. Announcement Number:  SCAH141382611124266 .  It closes on 15 Jul 2014.

Make sure to select "Federal Employees" under WHO MAY APPLY.  Note: The "Federal Employees" category includes everyone who is VEOA eligible.  Basically, anyone who was in the military at some point. If you leave the WHO MAY APPLY setting on "US Citizens", the positions may not be visible.

Haven't seen one at Anniston on USAJOBS yet, but Rock Island, IL has an opening posted that closes on the 11th.

Sorry, not sure what happened.  It was posted in USA JOBS on July 8th and for some reason was removed (Jul 9th).  It should have been shown until Jul 15th.  I will re-post the link when I find out what is going on.    If interested, there will eventually be 3-4 positions opening at Anniston and a number of positions at other locations.  There is a 2 year backlog of openings because of the budget/hiring freeze that are being worked through.  It is the government so give it time.

Yes, there are a lot of positions moving through the system currently. It is a good time to get hired into a gvt cal job, not sure if that is a good or bad thing though.
