Ok, I am now retired fromt the Navy and have 15 years Calibraiton (PMEL) experience and am in the job market in the Orlando/Daytona Beach area.  Any help would be greatly appreciated.
DEFINITION OF A VETERAN:

A veteran - whether on active duty, honorably discharged, retired, national guard, or reserve - is someone who, at one point in his or her life, wrote a blank check made payable to The 'United States of America', for an amount of 'up to and including my life.'

That is Honor, and there are way too many people in

Excellent!

Did you come by the job via the forum?

I only ask because I'd just like some validation that the site 'jobs forum' serves a useful purpose...

Jesse,
How many people a day get on this site?
How many compliments have I read here thanking you for making this a reality?
How many new members sign up almost daily?
How easy is the site to use?  (I mean, gee, even non-USAF personnel can navigate around with ease :-)

Bottom line, this is a great site, extremely useful and helpful to all of us metrologists, whether we're currently in the field or not.  We can reconnect with colleagues from the past, ask questions about a weird malfunction that maybe someone else has seen before, trade jokes, offer advice, find a job, and see if InLikeFlynn's posts today were witten while he was sober or not... :-)  So yeah, this site serves a useful purpose, and I'm sure I speak for all the members and guests when I say Thank You for making this a great stop in our daily routines...
If it works, it's a Fluke.

I know, I know...

I hope it didn't look like I was fishing for compliments, because I really wasn't.  I guess I really just meant the 'jobs forum', not the entire site.  I feel like that is one of the more important things that brings visitors in and am curious if it's serving its purpose.  note: original post edited to reflect true intent

Not this job,  but I did have some inquiries from this site.  I would say the your "Job Forum"  is a success.

Just follow the sounds of laughter. Once he gets started, it takes him a while to calm down. Oh yeah...he has black hair, a mustache and goatee, and I'm fairly sure he's in quality.
