Position Summary
The Quality Manager is responsible for ensuring the company's Quality Management System (QMS) and metrology program conform to established standards.  This position manages the Quality Assurance Department's operations and works closely with all other departments in the division to ensure strategic quality objectives are achieved and customer expectations are exceeded.

Position Specific Skills
• In depth knowledge of ISO 9001:2008, ISO/IEC 17025:2005, ANSI/NCSL Z540-1-1994 and ANSI/NCSLI Z540.3-2006
• ISO 9001 and/or ISO 17025 Lead Auditor certification
• Adept at interpreting internal and external quality/calibration requirements, policies, procedures and standards
• Proven knowledge of measurement uncertainty budgets, measurement decision risk and other metrology related statistics
• Prior electrical metrology experience
• Military PMEL training preferred

Duties/Responsibilities of Position
• Manage the development and implementation of objectives, policies, procedures, and systems pertaining to the QMS, metrology program and other areas under the Quality Manager's direction
• Monitor QMS and metrology program performance by analyzing relevant data, assessing opportunities for improvement and identifying needed changes
• Maintain ISO 9001:2008 QMS certification and ISO/IEC 17025:2005 calibration laboratory accreditation
• Keep abreast of relevant changes/revisions to national and international standards, including registrar and accreditation body requirements, which impact the company. Plan for and implement necessary changes accordingly
