Calibration/Metrology Technician (Lancaster, NY)

Growing ISO 17025 A2LA Accredited company is seeking candidates for the full-time position of Calibration/Metrology Technician to: calibrate, troubleshoot, and repair many types of laboratory, test, and measurement equipment/instruments covering several disciplines, including: volumetric dispensing, temperature/humidity, mass, torque, dimensional, voltage, pressure/vacuum, etc. Work will primarily be performed at our facility in Lancaster, however occasional travel (some overnight) to customer sites may be necessary.

Performance Requirements:
- Minimum of Associates degree, PMEL or Industry related experience is required
- Valid Driver's License required
- Ability to safely lift and move heavy items (50+lbs)
- Possess strong math and computer skills
- Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written)
- Candidate should be mechanically-inclined
- Must be detail-oriented
- Work well independently (with minimal supervision) and with others
- Ability to interface with customers and maintain a high level of customer service
- Ability to analyze and interpret data
- Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines while assuring compliance with Quality System
- Knowledge of ISO 17025 is helpful
