We are looking for talented and professional Calibration / Metrology Technicians based in the North Houston area to join our team. 

JOB DESCRIPTION:
Repair and calibration of test and measurement equipment including, but not limited to, calipers, micrometers, bore gages, indicators, height gages
Repair and calibration of test and measurement equipment including, but not limited to, hardness testers, optical comparators, pressure, torque, and force gages.
Perform depot repair evaluation and repairs as needed.
Provide accurate evaluation and produce repair quotations for customers.
Maintain material and supplies necessary for the calibration and maintenance of customer equipment.
Maintain electronic records of calibration performed in the field for customer's equipment. 
Develop calibration procedures and recommend associated standards.
Complete applicable documentation related to assignments.
Ensure all required business tasks are completed in a timely and quality manner.
Demonstrate abilities to use sound independent judgment, problem solving and work within a team environment.


REQUIRED QUALIFICAITONS:
A minimum of three (3) years relevant experience in the calibration of test and measurement equipment
Formal or advanced training in Metrology (i.e. military PMEL).
Demonstrate interpersonal and communications skills.
Calibration of threads plugs/ thread rings knowledge is a must.
Previous experience working repairing hand tools.
Previous experience working in a formal quality assurance program.
PC skills – Microsoft Windows, Excel, and Word experience.
Demonstrate interpersonal and communications skills.
Customer service experience
Travel required in local area with overnight stays.
Must have a valid driver's license and be insurable by the Company's insurance carrier. (company vehicle provided).

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
ISO 17025 & 9001 experience preferred.
