Hi Roy,
I'm looking for the pay chart that covers Fort Dix, and out of the three that cpms.osd.mil point you to for New Jersey (NEW JERSEY, Please see the Wilmington, Delaware; New York, New York; or Philadelphia, Pennsylvania wage areas.), none of those list the pay for a WS12 being $33.43 to $39.09 per hour. 2 of the three are considerably higher, with one being much lower (Philadelphia).
Which pay scale is Fort Dix using?
Thanks.

My ex re-marry a guy that got station in Watertown, that's really in the middle of no where. syracruse is an hour away.

I stationed there from 96-98, snow is a different animal up there.  During some storms you HAVE to shovel while it's still falling, if you wait you'll be stuck.  The snow plows are massive and salting the roads is critical.  There are times when I-81 is closed to Syracuse but if you need to get to a larger city Kingston Ontario is beautiful.  Toronto is 4 hours away and Montreal is about the same in the other direction and Ottawa is less than 2 hours away.  The summers are beautiful but short.

Fort Drum is great if you like the outdoors. Kingston is about an hour away. Ottawa about two, and my hometown, Montreal is 3 hours.
My kid was born in Watertown in 1993 when I was stationed there, nice facilities and they've expanded it (as well as Drum itself).
Amazing fishing and good hunting, but like MRD said, a crapload of snow. Although this year it was pretty warm...
Sarcasm - Just one more service I offer
