Calibration Lab Manager; Marshall Space Flight Center, AL

Duties:
Oversee the operations of a 20-person lab performing instrument calibration repair, standard maintenance and certification, and O&M of calibration systems including calibration of both electrical/electronic and physical/dimensional equipment for aerospace testing.  The calibration and metrology program provides for the maintenance of standards; inspection, measurement, and test equipment; and test software operation in a controlled process.  Lab personnel are responsible for the procurement, engineering, quality, safety, pick up and delivery, procedure development, and calibration on all equipment. 

Education/Experience:
Requires a BS degree in Engineering or related field is required with a minimum of ten years experience, including five years of supervisory experience.  Experience with ISO 2001:2000 and related calibration standards as well as excellent oral & written communication skills and interpersonal skills required.  Familiarity with MetCal software for automation and report generation highly desired.
