Metrology/Calibration Technician; Marshall Space Flight Center, AL

Duties:
Conduct the calibration of inspection, measurement & test equipment used for aerospace testing and related laboratory activities.

Education/Experience:
Requires High School diploma or equivalent and successful completion of a formal program of training in Metrology/Calibration or a related discipline (i. e. Technical School/College, Military PMEL, etc.)  A minimum of three years experience in calibration and/or repair of three or more of the following: Electrical/Electronic devices, including power sources, amplifiers, frequency counters, LCR meters, oscilloscopes, etc., or  Physical/Dimensional disciplines, including pressure, vacuum, flow, temperature, torque, length, thread pitch, and rings.  Experience in both Electrical/Electronic and Physical/Dimensional areas is highly desirable.
