Current USN.  Retire in Jan 2006, hoping to be employed by Feb 2006.  Any help on job leads would be appreciated.
DEFINITION OF A VETERAN:

A veteran - whether on active duty, honorably discharged, retired, national guard, or reserve - is someone who, at one point in his or her life, wrote a blank check made payable to The 'United States of America', for an amount of 'up to and including my life.'

That is Honor, and there are way too many people in

Check out Sypris  and TMI (technical maintenance) also if you know somebody at Raytheon they have a tampa location but not necc. PMEL related. Also Lockheed Martin has some part of its business in Ocala area.

One of those people that cannot go without a job eh?

Thanks flamy78,  I have already contacted Sypris, Raytheon and Lockheed Martin.  I will send a resume off to TMI.

From everything I have heard about them they are.  It is just I dont start my terminal leave from the military until the end of January and people dont want to deal unless you are within 30 days.  Doesnt make it easy to set up for future.......  But the job will come in time.

Here at Casa de KAI they may be willing to work something out that far in advance but you'd be in Georgia.

Georgia is a little too far away for a commute........

Well they'll hire over the phone. How many would you have to move? You are retiring after all so you can wait for a job in Florida. Florida cal jobs are slow- you only see a few a year and some of them are only by word of mouth. There is a guy in Melbourne who has been looking for somebody to co -own his business for a few years.
