Specific Job Description Position is for an Electronics Technician to support the metrology organization at the MS2 Owego, New York facility.    Perform varied work assignments within the jurisdiction of the Metrology Organization.       Acquire the knowledge, skill, and ability required to perform the duties of a Technician, while working in any Electrical metrology functional area, with technical assistance and guidance which includes in-place calibration team support.         
Responsibilities include the calibration, modify, troubleshooting, repair, and adjustment on commercial and special test equipment.    Includes Electrical/Electronic/RF Test & Measurement Equipment (T&ME) such as, but not limited to: waveform, microwave, time & frequency, phase, analog and oscilloscope.         
Assist in the development of calibration procedures both paper and automated.   Will work to acquire a working knowledge of increasingly more complex metrology techniques in the calibration disciplines of electrical, electro mechanical, and in-place equipment.         
Support the organization in the estalishing procedures and process to the obtain laboratory accredication to ISO 17025.         
Maintain accurate calibration records in the calibration management system.          
Standard Job Description Performs a variety of duties in the electronic, mechanical, electromechanical, and/or optical areas.    Constructs, troubleshoots, calibrates, adjusts, tests, diagnoses, and maintains equipment, components, devices, or systems.    Works from schematics, engineering drawings and written or verbal instructions.      Operates related equipment; conducts tests and reports data in prescribed format.   Performs calibration and alignment checks; makes adjustments, modifications, and replacements as directed; prepares prescribed compounds and solutions.

Typical Minimums: High School diploma, or equivalent experience/combined education, with additional specialized technical training equivalent to a technical Associate degree and/or demonstrated ability to perform assigned technical/para-engineering tasks and 5 Years or more of experience.

Anyone know an approximate salary range?

I'm sorry, I do not know the salary range.  However, Lockheed is very fair and the HR departement makes sure they are in line with the industry regarding compensation.
