PMEL Whore

Does anyone else find it odd thet the email address of the original poster and the reply are from the same person?  Just wonder what is going on up there at Dover with RSI and SMR.  If it walks like a duck...
I'll try being nicer if you'll try being smarter.

I was thinking of posting something quite similar. Upon a 2nd and 3rd glance the "guest" only has two L's however Bill the Cat has three L's but I think whoever put that in as a guest intended for them to be the same.
It appears as Mr Lynn is asking himself if he wants a job. Sounds crazy.

What do you have against non Air Force schooled technicians? The Army and Marines went through part of the school for the longest time at Keesler. I understand the problem of "I've been doing this for 10 years." Sure they have no school and still don't understand why they are doing it. I do not find waivers to be an acceptable option. Go get formal training and feel free to re-apply when you are qualified.

At my lab I've recently heard my supervisor say "If it glows it goes." I assume this to be in jest however that attitude has been known to exist with some people.

I for one don't think there is a negative bias against USN, USMC, or USA, but it's quite a bit easier to get an AF PMEL tech up to speed and 'on board' in another AF lab. We all went through the same school, but there are quite a few differences between all the DOD-mil cal programs. The typical "we never did it this way" in our cal program is all too common and sometimes difficult to change attitudes to the AF way of metrology. I'm sure it's the same issue for an AF PMEL tech working in a Army, Navy, or Marine lab. It's more of a preference than a rule.
