Hey all,

I need help on seeing if the 8903A audio analyzer is a suitable sub for the 334. The specs for both doesn't really gell together. One lists percentages and the other lists db.

Wish there was a spec like @ -10 of thd is +/- .05db

Can someone explain it to me please?

I can't but I will say that the 8903B only goes to 100kHz as opposed to the 600 kHz of the 334/331. Your best bet is to find seperate tech orders 1 that calls for the 331/334 and one that calls for the 8903 to see if either has a translation. Also maintenance data may have more help.

But I don't really know.

I figured it out. I'll post it later but just to say the 334A is more acurate than the 8903B.  You can use the 8903 as a sutable sub as long as your signal is more than 1db or 2db down than the limits of the 8903, pending on what frequency range you are measuring. Have Fun.
