Description:
Position is for an individual to perform calibration, maintenance and repair activities of electronic measuring and test equipment to commercial specifications and internal procedures as required to validate equipment accuracies and performance integrity. Calibrate, repair and evaluate performance of standard and non-standard electronic equipment to verbal and written specifications utilizing sensitive and intricate comparison standards and devices. Calibration and verification of such devices as commercially available Oscilloscopes, DMM's frequency counters, thermo measuring and recording devices and electro-optical measurement equipment utilizing intricate setups, and exercising a thorough knowledge of calibration techniques. Applicant must have an Associates degree with 1-3 years minimum related experience. Requires experience with various calibration and test equipment as well as troubleshooting and repair skills. Must have adequate electronic aptitude, and be conversant with the terminology and techniques of calibration practices. Basic computer skills and experience with Microsoft Excel and Access required. Must have the ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with peers and co-workers in a team environment. Bending, stooping and lifting of test equipment required. Must be able to work occasional late evenings and weekend overtime as required to meet customer expectations. Operation experience with vacuum, pressure, thermo-dynamic and optical measuring equipment highly desired. Familiarity with military and aerospace industry concepts, practices and procedures and/or PML training is preferred. This position is for first shift. ****NO RELOCATION OFFERED FOR POSITION****
