Audit teams

Out of curiosity(sp) how many audit teams are there? How many sites do they have to audit each year or every two years?

The audit team is coming here in March.

(edit): Is this question off limits in a public forum?

A few buddies of mine say Wright Patterson likes to lateral too much stuff and AFPSL has standards they should give to other bases due to rare use.

Asking how many audit teams there are, and the frequency they audit, really shows your extensive Air Force PMEL background.  Why don't you try asking some of your wizard buddies your brilliant questions.

If you haven't been through an MLC audit, here is a tip...you are going to get corn holed.  You might as well get the vaseline out and get pre-lubed, because you are going to get it.

You should stick with posting facts instead of your buddies opinions.  Your broad generalized statements about WP and the AFPSL are of no value to anyone.

There is one evaluation team that assesses the calibration labs.  Total team members is roughly 12.  Each evaluation will have a few team members.

Well I don't like the fastcal treatment. I've been through one - sorta. This isn't an official forum and my opinion however serious or jokingly is more than welcome. If it wasn't Jesse would say something or edit it. I know each lab gets audited every two years. Re read the post. But anyhow Some get re-audited what is it 6 months after a failure? I don't believe our "bible" covers all the details of THEIR operation it only is a portion of the material that governs our operation and what we must adhere to.

HEY DEERHUNTER.........It is a well known fact that Bionetics Laboratories, especially WP lateral as much as they can to keep their numbers down.  that is why they are a BIG joke, and everyone knows it but you!  By the way this is a Forum and anyone can ask anything they want......even if you think its dumb.  You know kinda like killing Bambi's mama is wrong, but I'm not saying anything to you.

Not to take this off topic...but I just want to state for the record, that the only content I will edit is e-mail addresses.  And when I do, I always note that it was edited and why.  Hey, if I can save someone from a little spam, it's the least I can do.  Also, I have had to delete a couple of blatant spam postings, which had nothing at all to do with the site.  And finally, I might intervene if things got out of hand in a particular thread or with a particular user.  It could happen I suppose, but I hope not.  

Anyway, I certainly encourage free exchange of information, after all that's really the whole point of this forum!

from today's in brief i heard 76 evals every two years - well i heard it.

on another note I hear we are off to a good start. Now I don't have e-mail yet so this is UNCONFIRMED: 7 pass 4 in progress of a total 40 for the contractors - know nothing about organic.

So how did the audit go? Did your lab pass? I hope you didn't get cornholed like deerhunter predicted.

Still haven't seen the final report.
You know recommendations, mistakes and what have ye.
But we passed. They are brutal and precise in what they choose. They smell the trends before they happen.

Did you get to take part in the MCA portion of the audit? If you did, how was it?

I was still new to this lab and did not do an audit. I don't think anybody who was there for less than 6 months did. I could be wrong though.

How many audits have you participated in, Flamy? I hope you don't mind my asking, but I was curious. I'm under the impression you haven't experienced very many.

I'm lucky in a way I guess. I've only been through two. I didn't do an item in either. I'm a young chap with lil xp. The job market has sucked cow balls the last few years so I've not been in a military env. I was only in for four years anyhow.
