POSITION TITLE:     PMEL Technician I

LOCATION:             Malmstrom AFB, MT

HOURS:                  7:00 am-4:00 pm, Monday-Friday (some overtime may be required)

BASIC REQUIREMENTS:   
           
1.    Minimum three (3) years experience in Test, Maintenance, and Diagnostic Equipment (TMDE) calibration and repair, preferably in a military calibration lab.   Experience to include inspecting, troubleshooting, repairing, overhauling, aligning, calibrating, and certifying TMDE, metrology laboratory working standards, and safe work practices/procedures.

2.   Completion of the Military metrology-training program or equivalent training.

3.    Good working knowledge of calibration and maintenance of K6 TMDE; consisting of the following: Pressure, Force, Mass, Optics, Linear Measurements, Air Flow, and Temperature.

4.    Possesses the knowledge required to read and analyze block, schematic, wiring and logic diagrams, and blue prints.

5.    Ability to troubleshoot and repair non-functioning TMDE.
