Have not been able to view or post on here for a while. I came to afghanistan in november, so have not had the opprotunity.  Winter up here in the mountains is finally over. Just waiting on the heat.
I am actually working out of my profession over here, they do not have PMEL, like we know it.  The money is good though.

Crap.  I wish I could get a job over in that area.  I can never seem to get any call backs.  I hope you enjoy the money.  I know I would.

I work for Mantech international.  My work hours are 12 hrs a day, 7 days a week.  They pay me well for that.  At the moment, I ive in a hut with 12 other civilians.  I am on the waiting list for my own little apartment, Cannot wait for that. It is not bad here.  We have only had a couple of incidents, but our gates are very secure and we are a ways from them.  Sometimes I travel to different spots to work, most of the time not.  I like it myself.    We do get internet and tv here.
If you apply to Mantech, make sure your resume is in good shape. The terms they recognize most are TMDE and instrument repair. Stress any experience you have with audio, radio, satellite or radar.
In your resume, go back as far as you can go.  They want to see all of it, not just a 2 page resume.
Go to http://www.mantech.com/ You will have to register and submit a resume to apply for jobs, but you can browse them without doing that.  Good luck

Good to hear you're hanging in there, man.   Hope it stays interesting and you make it back to the ol' U. S. A.  safe and in due time.
