Rumor of PMEL school back in business

Hello.

I am new to the site and think it is a great place for the PMEL community.

I wanted to see if anyone can confirm or deny a rumor that I heard.   Someone told me the Air Force reopened the PMEL training school.   Is that true?  Did it ever really close? 

Just curious.

It is open.  It was only down for a short time right after Katrina.

Kind of curious where you heard that though...
