Hello, my name is Bryant Jackson (USAF Ret. ) and I'm presently working with the AdvantEdge group in securing PMEL technicians that would be interested in teaming with the company in the upcoming outsourcing competition at Wright-Patterson AFB, OH.   PMEL duties would be performed in building 884 at WPAFB and other off base locations in the general Ohio vicinity.   Approximate PMEL/TMDE workload is forthcoming in the Request For Proposal (RFP) that is due out in October of this year.

PMEL: Provide calibration and repair services of a wide variety of Test Measurement and Diagnostic Equipment (TMDE) in the WPAFB PMEL inventory.  Provide calibration and minor repair services on site for TMDE using the Transportable Field Calibration Unit (TFCU), and Jet Engine Test Stand (JETS) at customer sites located in Ohio's geographical area which includes five other states.  Provide services to WPAFB to include tenants and other off-base activities through support agreements where level IIC Precision Measurement Equipment Laboratory (PMEL) maintenance support is required.  Maintain required PMEL certification from Air Force Metrological and Calibration (AFMETCAL) Detachment 1 six months after start of contract, and every two years thereafter.  (REF: http://www.e-publishing.af.mil/shared/media/epubs/AFI21-113.pdf) Maintain library of TOs, regulations, manuals, and other directives.
