Does anyone know of companies / contractors who are hiring PMEL techs for work in Saudi Arabia or the UAE?  If yes, what is the typical rate of pay?

Thanks

I haven't seen anything in UAE.  I take that back; I think I saw something with a US DOD contractor at least 6 months ago.  I haven't seen much in UAE (Dubai would be a very nice place to live - I've searched extensively there).  I do have a number of links to Dubai job websites.  If you send me a PM, I'll email back the Dubai-based job links.

As for Saudi, BAE Systems has an ongoing ad for calibration people; but they are very strict as to who they'll consider.  They're looking for air force types with aviation related cal background.

Lockheed Martin does. I worked in the UAE as a Metrology engineer at $78k/yr if count per diem. The people who work over there and live don't make less than $85k/yr plus OT.
