All, I have been corresponding with Calsquid81.   I have positions available.  If you know anyone that is remotely interested, have them shoot me an email at the following:
chugbug10@yahoo. com.
If my position and location is not what you want, I know people all over the country and  will be more than happy to make some contacts to see if openings are available in other locals.  I  I am NOT a recruiter, I am a lab manager and have been in the buisness for 18 years.   I believe in taking care of the vets, seeing as how I spent 9 yrs & 9 days in the USAF!  Love every minute and would not trade my experiances for a million bucks! ( :-D Well maybe a mil!)

Hi, TBolt,

Thank you for the kind offer.  I would like to take you up on it if you have any contacts in the Northern VA/DC area.  I don't post here much (understatement of the year!) but am looking for a new job due to my current company moving to Mexico.  They are scheduled to start layoffs in February; if I stay until they lay me off, there is a decent package so I'm trying to find something to pick up then.

My current position is an in-house tech for a manufacturing plant; I am the cal lab here.  I do everything from purchase supplies to calibrate equipment to shipping and receiving.  I will be glad to forward my resume to you if you wouldn't mind taking a look at it.

Thanks in advance,

msr

Are you at Nacom?  If so, I worked with you several years ago when you first started there.   I would be interested to hear if a couple of old friends are still there.

Ok I am brand new here.    I just want to respond to the guy whose company is moving to Mexico.    Under NAFTA you have the right to go to college free for a predetermined amount of time.    I am not sure what it is based on by my friends company moved to Mexico and she got a 4 year degree out of it for free PLUS she received her regular wages the whole time she was in school!! So they PAID her to get a degree.  Just a thought but I would think that would add a great deal of value as opposed to going out right away and getting another job.

RichieRich,
Are you responding to my post or msrichmond? Not sure what the acronym stands for.
