Mobile Instrument Company is at 3rd party ISO 17025 accredited calibration laboratory looking for two PMEL technicians at any experience level for a Calibration Technician opening in Mobile, AL.  Technician will be required to provide both in-lab and onsite calibration activity and technical support.  We have a diverse customer base including the aerospace and shipbuilding industries.  Please contact Ed Wynn at [email protected] for questions or to provide resumes.

I am leaving to tackle a new opportunity.  As Lead Metrologist and defacto Lab Manager, Mobile Instrument Company has been a great experience and opportunity for me.  Located in beautiful southern Alabama, I cannot stress the advantages of the flexible work schedule here.  No, you can't work 3rd shift or anything like that, but if you have a doctors appointment on a random Tuesday, you can work early or late the other days to make up for the time, or come in on the weekends.  Need to take a random day off for the kids, or just because you want to (beach)?  Talk to them, depending on workload, you can probably work it out throughout the week, to save your vacation time.

Family-orientated, Christian business.  Even though I am leaving, it was an extremely hard decision.
