I'm looking for a spread sheet that will calculate PSI generated using plate weight, the tester is an Ametek T-100. This unit's current calibration certificate indicates PSI generated by plate combination without listing plate weight.

I feel like that would be fairly easy to do based on the nominal weights of the plate. Why would you not just use the values of the plates?

USMCPMEL

By the way I calibrate deadweight testers all the time. We probably do over 100 a year were I work.

USMCPMEL

You really just need to use the values supplied by the calibration lab. Just out of curiousity who did calibrate the deadweight tester for you?

Conman

I won't discuss the company that preformed this calibration.

USMCPMEL

No problem I sent you a private message about the local gravity question.

USMCPMEL

Do you know the local gravity of where it was calibrated and where you are? After that it is a rather simple formula to determine the difference in pressure. I have helped a lot of customers out with that in the past.

Did you ever get what you were looking for on this? I did not hear back from you on the local gravity issue and I was just wondering.
