Back in '86 I compared Klipsch speakers to Cerwin Vega D9Es, and the specs were identical.  The Vegas were a thousand dollars cheaper a pair, so I went with them.  They've worked just fine for 20 years (although I have gone through a few tweeter fuses on some selected Alan Parsons' songs, which the Onkyo amplifier pumped out at a probably-too-high volume...)

Klipsch makes a damned fine speaker, which proves my earlier point- PMEL techs know how to buy the good stuff!
If it works, it's a Fluke.

Q: What time is it?

A: 20 years ago, you looked at your Austron 1210D-03 in the PTFC and saw exactly what time it was.  Nowadays you look at the time on your cell phone and there it is...  I wonder what the accuracy is?
