Health and Welfare $3.71 for hours worked up to 40 Hours per week
80 hours of paid vacation after 1 year

JOB SUMMARY:

We are currently seeking a Physical & Dimensional Calibration / Repair Technician to join our team in the physical and dimensional measurement areas (K5 and K6). Qualified candidate must have a well-rounded skill set in the dimensional area to include areas such as Mechanical, Dimensional, Thermodynamics, Flow, Optics, and Pressure / Vacuum. Any combination of these skills would be considered. Applicants must have good communication and organizational skills and to be able to work well with other team members as well as interact professionally with government employees.

BASIC REQUIREMENTS:
1.   Minimum three (3) years experience in Test, Maintenance, and Diagnostic Equipment (TMDE) calibration and repair, preferably in a military calibration lab. Experience includes inspecting, troubleshooting, repairing, overhauling, aligning, calibrating, and certifying TMDE. 
2.   Completion of a DOD accredited PMEL School
3.   Possesses the knowledge required to read and analyze block, schematic, wiring and logic diagrams.
4.   Ability to troubleshoot and repair non-functioning TMDE
5.   Having knowledge of Air Force Metrology and Calibration Program requirements including Air Force T.O. 00-20-14 is a plus.
