Hey Hoopty,

Did you and the family make it through the hurricane in good shape? I've experienced my share of hurricanes and typhoons and know they can be nasty. I hope everything's alright.

Yeah, Thraxas, it was pretty much a non-event here.  We all prepared, evacuated, and sheltered... but by 5:30 yesterday, we were all clear.  We didn't get anything but a little rain and wind.  Didn't even knock any leaves off the trees. 

I guess it's better safe than sorry though.  Thanks for asking.

I'm glad to hear that everything's alright. I'd hate to see a repeat of last year's hurricane season. Unfortunately, this year's isn't over yet.

Hurricanes.........................Pat O'Briens in Nawlins makes a frickin' awesome one.  Drink one and your plowed like a corn field!   Mighty tasty in that "Fruit-Punch-sweet-nummy-kind-of-rum-kick-you-in-the-head-like-a-mule-thing" Yeah baby!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
