How y'all calibrating these accurate little bastages.......

The best way to calibrate them is with the proper Set Plug.  You could use a LMM with sphere tips but its a bitch to adjust an OOT ring that way.

All these W rings are solid and non adjustable. Below 16TPI the tolerance is +/-0.0002 above 16TPI +/-0.00015.

I've got a SIP305 and use it for them right now with the ruby tips.  They used to use a Johnson Gage Standard, with gage blocks, wires and segments, but that no way met our 4:1.
