Calibration Laboratory Manager Position open for ERC, Incorporated (www.erc-incorporated.com)
Location:  Huntsville, AL

Job Description:
Position is responsible for the overall operations of a metrology/calibration laboratory.  This individual will work closely with NASA Quality and the prime contractor.  They will answer directly to the contract General Manager. 

Responsibilities:
- Responsible for ensuring that the laboratory is acting in compliance to all contractual requirements
- Responsible for the overall implementation of and conformance of the Quality System to meet the requirements of ANSI/NCSL Z540. 1 (R2002)
- Responsible for attracting and retaining qualified staff
- Responsible for ensuring customer satisfaction
- Responsible for ensuring effective root cause analysis, to include corrective and preventive actions, is performed for any and all deficiencies detected


Requirements:
- U. S.  citizen or U. S.  Permanent Resident Status required
- Minimum 10 years experience in metrology with 3 to 5 years in a supervisory/management role
- BS degree preferred; AS minimum
- Must have experience adhering to ANSI/NCSL Z540. 1 (R2002) and ISO/IEC 17025:2005
- Proficiency is Microsoft Office products (Powerpoint, Word, Excel & Outlook)

- Six Sigma Green or Black Belt
- Experience and knowledge with uncertainty analysis
