I've been given the task of verifying our temp/humidity chambers.   The interior compartment itself is about 2 ft cube.

Does any one have any experience with this?

Is it necessary to take readings at different points inside the chamber and if so where?

Thanks in advance for any feedback.

Really depends on what the customer wants.  You can do a 9 point survey and data log the points over time, dictated by the customer.  You can also just verify the Temp/Humidity readouts via signal input and do a 1 point verification on the RTD/TC and Humidity Sensor.

Also depending on the use of the chamber Ramp Rates may have to be checked also verifying the Compressors/Heaters are working properly.

When talking about a nine point survey, do you mean nine physical locatins within the chamber or nine temperture set points?

9 point survey means 9 actual points inside the chamber ( also known as mapping ). That would be all corners and one center.

What is the Manufacturer and Model. We have a Thunder Scientific 2500 and the calibration for it requires a PRT and pressure calibrator.

IF YOU ARE IN THE MILITARYY OU ARE PROBABLY USING THE TENNY JR.  OR THE 2500ST.
IF YOU ARE JUST VERIFYING THE UNIT IS NOT OUT OF TOLERANCE YOU CAN USE A CALIBRATED KAYMONT KPTRH, AND IF YOU NEED TO CALIBRATE THE UNIT YOU CAN REFER TO METPRO FOR THE CALIBRATION ICP.
