Yesterday I pulled out of a store onto a road that has a speed limit of 35mph. There was a Honda CRV coming down the road about 300yrds away. I pulled out and the driver of the honda caught up with me by the time I was doing 40mph. He had to have been going 65-70mph. Well, the dumb ass decided to pass me up hill on a double yellow line and then almost side swiped me trying to avoid the on coming car. When he got around me I honked and flashed my lights. He then tried to brake check me, but I was 4-5 car lengths behind him. We then pulled up to a red light and the idiot got out of his car. It was a man about 65-70 yrs old. He was cussing and acting like a total moron. I rolled the window down and told him to get back in his car before this becomes to serious. He told me then that he had a .22 pistol in his pocket and he was willing to make it serious. I told him that was nice and that he was holding up traffic. I then told him that I have 2 kids in the car and that he was setting a bad example. He then got into his car and took off.

The real stupid thing that this idiot did was assume that he was safe to act like an idiot because he had a .22 in his pocket. What he did not know was that if he even touched his pocket I would have shot his ass with the .45 I had in my lap.

The moral to the story is that if you have a gun and jump out of a car in a fit of rage do not tell the guy sitting in the car that you are yelling at that you have a gun. According to Georgia state laws I could have shot the guy.

the poor sap didn't even know how close he came to getting killed. My oldest son (11yrs old) wanted to know why I didn't shoot him so I told him that "it's called good judgement which that other guy obviously doesn't have."

Your restraint is commendable, I always try to make sure when stopped behind people I'm not too close to be able to turn the wheel a bit & punch it to make tracks, thier car will stop you but they are just a speed bump.

Thank you. I had 2 of my boys with me and I couldn't risk them getting hurt.
