The Navy is hiring a civilian instructor for the Phys-D course.  All I have is that is a GS-09 position, you need an associates degree (min.), and have some phys-d experience.  The e-mail says that it will be open from April 16 until April 25 and will be available on www.usajobs.gov

I couldn't find it just now, but it may not show up until tomorrow.  If I find a link I'll post it.

If it's only open a week, they have the person already selected and are just meeting the legal obligations

USMCPMEL

That is ridiculous what if someone more qualified applies for that position? I have tons of Phys-d experience what a load I hate when companies do that. Someone should sue the Navy.

That may be, but as far as we know here, it isn't.

Didn't find it on usajobs.gov, but did find it on the Navy site.  Here is a link to it:

Why is everyone complaining? Who in thier right mind wants to live in Biloxi? Hurricanes, humidity, dirty water, unfriendly locals.  You name it, Biloxi has it all.

Lived there for about eight months. Was fine by me. You could always moved further in shore to the land will break the wind down some.

California has more problems than any Gulf Coast area in my opinion.

Hell Hawaii is a chain of islands and has less disasters than Caleefornya.

So tell us guest do you post in anything besides the job forum? If I send an e-mail to [email protected] will it bounce?

broken wings. . . First of all I like to stay anonymous just like you.  If you have anything to say, you sure as hell don't need my email address to say it.  It's of no small coincidence you have your email address hidden too.  If you honestly like Biloxi, more power to you.  I know of very few people who would actually choose to live there.  I don't know, maybe you're in to in-breeding.  LOL

Just up the street (sorta) in Huntsville there are several openings for contract TMDE (PMEL for you flyboys and sea types) instructors. Check out www.alutiiq.com - listed as 94H instructors.

And, after the Army, only the Marines got it right, TMDE is the way to go. PMEL just sounds so...... reminds me of this ex-drill I had the pleasure of knowing by the name of Mel.
